The Reformer is one of the main pieces of equipment used in the Pilates Method. Reformer exercises use spring resistance to elongate and strengthen the entire body, challenging balance and strength. Classes are limited to 12 students and pre-registration is required.
Classes are 50 minutes.
Reformer Therapeutic Stretch
This class is designed for all levels and is especially nice for seniors. this class is for anyone who is looking for a class that targets core strenght, flexibility and joint movement. This class will help create a more agile body and build stronger muscles while providing a non-intimidating enviorment and a friendly comfortable pace.
Reformer Level 1
This class welcomes the beginning Pilates student. The basic Pilates exercises are utilized for a well-rounded work-out to build a successful understanding of the Pilates Method and the way your body moves. An opportunity to learn the correct skills to access your core, develop breath control and enhance spinal alignment. please complete 5 Reformer Level 1 classes before moving on to a Reformer level 1/2 combo. If you have attended the equivalent of 5 pilates classes from another studio and feel comfortable with your previous pilates experience then you may try the Level 1-2 combo class.
Reformer Level 1.5
This class welcomes the advnaced beginner and the intermediate Pilates student. New excersies are tintroduced to increase the flow and routine of the work-out. Further your understanding of your core musculature to experience the power of Pilates. Please take 5 Reformer 1.5 classes plus permission by an instructor before moving on to Reformer 2.
Reformer Level 1-2 Combo
This class welcomes the advanced beginner and the low intermediate Pilates student. New exercises are introduced to increase the flow and routine of the work-out. Further your understanding of your core musculature to experience the power of Pilates. Please take 5 Reformer 1-2 Combo classes plus permission by an instructor before moving on to Reformer 2.
Reformer Level 2
This class welcomes the solid intermediate Pilates student and is designed to challenge the fundamentals and skills that you have learned in Reformer 1 and 2. Exercises become more challenging, while increasing the skill set of the Pilates movements and adding additional emphasis on centering, precision and flow. Please take 10 minimum Reformer 2 plus permission by an instructor to take move on to Level 3 advance reformer class.
Reformer Level 3
Our toughest of all our Pilates Classes. We introduce and master advanced Pilates movement as well as increase the pace of the class. There is no down time and this class is very intense. We require a minimum of 10 reformer Level 2 classes.
Reformer Cardio Jump!
Using the Jumpboard on the Reformer you will jump, strengthen, tone, sweat, and have fun with challenging a flow and creative choreography. Expect a cardio workout along with Reformer work to tone upper and lower body, tough core challenges and quick on your feet jumping! Our Reformer Cardio class is perfect for all levels but don't expect it to be easy.
Pilates 2 the Core!
This “all” level class, set to motivating music, is for anyone who wants to work hard! (Beginner to Advanced)! MUST have an open mind and be willing to try new things. Standing on EXO chairs, lunges on Basu balls, weights, jumping, you will do it all! Burn calories, get your heart rate up and tone your body. (Up to 400 calories burned in 50 minutes) Come ready to work to your extreme Pilates Style. This is as close to boot camp you can get doing Pilates. (not a Marine bootcamp) PILATES bootcamp. Be ready to sweat and work at a fast pace!
Pilates for seniors
This class is designed for seniors who are looking for a class that targets core strength, flexibility and joint movement. This class will help create a more agile body and build stronger muscles while providing a non-intimating environment and a friendly comfortable pace.
Our Barre class integrates interval training with muscle-shaping isometrics to quickly and safely reshape the entire body. Barre classes include both the ballet barre and the mat, and targets all major muscle groups. The result is the recognizable Barre body, sculpted arms, flat abs, a lifted seat, and elongated thighs. This workout also requires mental focus as muscles are strengthened and then stretched to create a longer, leaner physique.
Cardio Barre & Reformer
This "all" level class incorporates Pilates reformer work, cardio and ballet-inspired barre exercises, resulting in stronger, longer and leaner muscles. This challenging workout targets the thighs, butt, abdominals, back and arms. Our Barre class integrates interval training with muscle-shaping isometrics to quickly and safely reshape the entire body. Total Barre Cardio Sculpt & Tone
High-energy and dynamic, Total Barre integrates elements of Pilates, dance, cardio & strength training. Emphasizing correct biomechanics of movement combined with the power of music to increase strength, flexibility, stamina and dynamic stability. This class is geared for everyone—no dance experience or tutus required!
We offer one-on-one sessions with an instructor in order to ensure that your individual needs and goals are being met. We especially recommend private sessions for new clients. It is important to us that you are comfortable and that you get the most out of your sessions. Privates are also great for the seasoned student. The private training can address any bad habits you may be developing in your form as well as help you dig deeper in your practice and get a better return on those classes.
Semi Private Session
Our semi private sessions are still very small and tuned into your needs. We usually have two to three clients work with one instructor. Although this is a group session, the instructor will individualize the session to meet each client’s workout level and goals.
